Rosy Hernández, Soprano: Rosy was born in Monterrey, México to a non-musical family but that didn’t stop her from setting her sights high, studying vocal performance in Mexico and eventually auditioning for Opernhaus Zürich and landing a position in the prestigious International Opernstudio and professional chorus.
Eleanor Paunovic, Mezzo Soprano: Eleanor hails from NY state and has a BA in Music from SUNY Oswego, NY, and a MM in Applied Voice and Vocal Pedagogy from New England Conservatory in Boston, MA.
She has been a member of the Zurich Opera Choir since 1996 and in her spare time she enjoys playing Bridge, cross-stitching, and singing in concerts like this one!
Julie Bartholomew Rath, Mezzo Soprano: Julie was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs.
She studied piano, clarinet, violin and eventually focused on a Bachelor’s in Voice at The University of Michigan and a Master’s in Voice at the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
A twist of fate while singing freelance at New York City Opera landed her a solo contract in Switzerland at Theater St Gallen.
After her contract finished, she decided that she didn’t want to leave beautiful Switzerland and promptly auditioned for the Opernhaus Zürich chorus where she has been singing the last 18 years.
Carl Hieger, Tenor: The Los Angeles-bred tenor is a versatile artist who has performed in numerous operas, operettas, musicals and concerts, both pop and sacred music including Tamino in "The Magic Flute" ( European tour ), and the Doctor in Philip Glass' "Fall of the House of Usher" ( Lincoln Center, NY ).
From 1990 to 2022, Carl was a member of the Zurich Opera Chorus, but also performed as a soloist in various concerts, e.

as a big band singer with the "Swiss Army Band", in the "Swiss Musical Night" ( SRF2 TV ), and in the Zurich Tonhalle as a guest soloist with the Zurich Symphony Orchestra.
